Jordan Whitley-McCauley joined the Duke Athletics staff in January 2023 and currently serves as the Executive Director for Strategic Initiatives. In her role, she helps direct fundraising strategy and special initiatives for the Iron Dukes, working directly with the Deputy Director of Athletics for Development, while collaborating across various internal and external constituents. She also serves on the Iron Dukes senior staff.
Prior to her current role, she worked as a Regional Development Officer for Major Gifts, for the University of North Carolina School of Law. While there, she helped research and cultivate major gifts while also working with department chairs on fundraising priorities, strategies and opportunities for donor engagement. She also oversaw the Young Alumni Leadership Council during her time in Chapel Hill.
Before her time at North Carolina, Whitley-McCauley spent time at Northwestern University Athletics as the Associate Director for Major Gifts, the Fuqua School of Business as the Assistant Director of Donor Relations and within the Duke Athletics business, game operations, and compliance offices.
Whitley-McCauley earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University in 2008 and graduated from North Carolina State University in 2014 with her Masters of Education, Training and Development degree.
Whitley-McCauley resides in Apex with her husband, Andrew. The couple have two children Bellamy and Roman.
