Ginny Ramirez-DelToro joined Duke Athletics in 2026 and serves as the Executive Director of Academic Support. In her role, she oversees the department's academic support services, working closely with student-athletes, coaches, faculty and campus partners to promote academic success, personal development and degree completion.

Prior to joining Duke Athletics, Ramirez-DelToro served as a senior administrative advisor and previously as an academic dean in Trinity College at Duke. Before transitioning to academic administration, she served as the academic coordinator for the Duke men's basketball program from 2019-22. Ramirez-DelToro also has extensive experience in higher education as an instructor, advisor and researcher, teaching at Duke, the University of Pittsburgh and Winthrop while mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.

Ramirez-DelToro earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Duke in 2001 before receiving a Master of Education in reading from Winthrop in 2010 and a Ph.D. in language, literacy and culture from the University of Pittsburgh in 2017.
