Courtney Adams joined the Duke Athletics staff in January of 2022 as the Assistant Director of Special Events.
Adams came to Duke from the Charlotte Sports Foundation where she served as an Events & Operations Assistant and help put on the 2021 Duke’s Mayo Classic, ACC Football Championship and Duke’s Mayo Bowl. She previously had served on the IPTAY Hospitality staff at Clemson University with the Colonnade Group.Â
A native of Richmond, Va., Adams earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations and business leadership from Virginia Tech in 2019 and a master’s degree in sport leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2021.
