Bethany Koman, MS, LAT, ATC is an Athletic Training Fellow with Duke Athletics, where she provides medical coverage for the women's tennis program.
Koman earned both her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science (2025) and Master of Science in Athletic Training (2026) from Aurora University. During her athletic training education, she completed clinical rotations at Plainfield South High School, Northern Illinois University with softball, the University of Michigan with football and Northwestern Medicine, gaining experience across a variety of clinical and athletic settings.
Originally from Washington, Penn., she is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT), and an active member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA). Koman also serves as the Representative for the Illinois Athletic Trainers Association Council for Early Career Athletic Trainers, where she advocates for and supports emerging professionals in the field.
