Michael Tremblay joined the Duke University Athletic Medicine staff in August 2026 and currently serves as the Assistant Athletic Trainer. In this capacity, he is the athletic trainer for both the women’s soccer and the cheerleading/spirit squad.
Originally from Somerset, Mass., Tremblay graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. He went on to earn his Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2026.
Prior to joining Duke, Tremblay served as an Athletic Trainer at Princeton from 2019-23 and Brown University from 2016-19. At Princeton, he worked with women’s soccer, wrestling, men’s heavyweight rowing and women’s tennis over the years. Tremblay was an intern Athletic Trainer at Brown in 2016-17, before being promoted to Assistant Athletic Trainer from 2017-19. He worked with a variety of sports including men’s and women’s track and field, equestrian, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s heavyweight rowing, men’s soccer and wrestling.
