Jon Neeter is in his second season as an assistant coach at Duke. Neeter joined the Blue Devil staff in December of 2003 after serving as a part-time assistant coach at his alma mater for two seasons (2002-03), where he helped the Terrapins to their best seasons in 10 years on the courts.
As a private instructor, Neeter trained and travelled with numerous sectionally and nationally ranked junior players, training individuals with rankings as high as top 10 nationally and in the world. Neeter has worked with numerous professional players travelling the United States Tennis Association's futures and challenger circuits.
A member of the United States Tennis Association's High Performance Coaching Program, Neeter worked as an assistant director at the Tournament Tough Training Academy in Florida under legendary coach Carlos Goffi for four years (1998-01).
Born October 9, 1977 and a native of Old Tappan, N.J., Neeter graduated from Northern Valley Regional High School in 1996. He then played tennis at Maryland, graduating in 2001 with a individualized major in sports marketing and management.
