Quinn Billerman joined the Duke coaching staff in February of 2021 and serves as a graduate assistant coach working primarily with the quarterbacks.
Prior to that, Billerman spent three seasons (2018-20) on staff at Rice University as an offensive quality control coach. While with the Owls, Billerman mentored quarterback Mike Collins to honorable mention all-conference honors.
Before joining the Rice staff, he spent two years as a graduate assistant coach at his alma mater N.C. Central University where he worked with the quarterbacks and the wide receivers. While in Raleigh, Billerman helped coach the Eagles to the 2016 MEAC Championship, while mentoring quarterback Malcolm Bell to sign a professional contract with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Billerman began his playing career at New Mexico Military Institute, where he was a two year starter. Before leaving, he set the program’s record for yards (2,962) and touchdowns (34) in a single season (2013) and led the Broncos to a win over Arizona Western in the El Toro Bowl.
Billerman transferred to N.C. Central University prior to the 2014 season and helped the Eagles win back-to-back MEAC titles (2014 & 2015) along with a berth in the 2016 Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl.
A native of Raleigh, N.C., Billerman graduated in 2015 from N.C. Central University and was named a National Football Foundation Bill Dooley Chapter University Scholar-Athlete.
His father, Kevin Billerman, was a guard on the Duke men's basketball program 1972-75. He appeared in 78 career games, averaging 10.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists.Â
