Jasmine Johnson joined the Duke football staff in January 2022, and currently serves as the Director of Recruiting after being promoted from Director of On-Campus Recruiting in April 2023.

Johnson came to Durham after spending three seasons (2019-21) as a partnerships & marketing manager for the Miami Super Bowl Host Committee. In her role, she cultivated and maintained relationships with existing and prospective partners to celebrate the historic intersection of the NFL’s centennial season and Miami’s record-breaking eleventh Super Bowl. She developed strategies to increase revenue for the Miami Super Bowl Host Committee to raise funds for community activations in preparation for Super Bowl LIV.

Prior to her time in Miami, she spent the 2018 season on staff with Select Sports Group as a marketing & client services manager. While there, she built and maintained relationships with the agency’s NFL clients and their families as well as negotiated marketing deals. In addition, Johnson identified and facilitated clients’ paid brand activations and appearances.

Before her stint with Select Sports Group, Johnson served three years (2015-17) in a variety of different roles working with the football program at the University of Notre Dame. She served as a recruiting analyst her first year, before elevating to coordinator of on-campus recruiting her final two seasons. Johnson also volunteered as a player development assistant during her time with the Fighting Irish.

Prior to her time in sports, Johnson spent a brief time with General Mills, Inc., working as a business management associate.

Johnson graduated from Notre Dame in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She then obtained her master’s degree in sports administration from St. Thomas University in 2020. While working toward her undergraduate degree, Johnson was a junior hospitality team captain with the Orange Bowl Committee.
