Upcoming Event: Women's Tennis versus ITA All-American Championship on September 20, 2025

ROME, Italy – The Blue Devils arrived in Rome, Italy Tuesday morning and got the tour started quickly by heading outside the Colosseum for lunch. Following an excellent Italian meal, Duke went for a guided tour of the Colosseum.
The Colosseum, which is located in the center of Rome, Italy, was simply amazing. The Colosseum was used for staging various events including gladiator fights, wild animal displays, theatrical entertainment, executions, religious ceremonies, mock sea battles and re-playing famous Roman victories.
At the end of the tour, the squad went through more of Ancient Rome, including the commercial, religious and political center.
The Blue Devils headed back to the hotel for a little relaxation, following the long day of travel, which included a nine hour flight from Atlanta.
Duke concluded its first day with a welcome dinner on the rooftop of our hotel.
