Duke Hosts Wake Forest Thursday in Cameron...
Coming off only its second loss in Cameron Indoor Stadium over the last four years, the fifth-ranked Duke women’s basketball team (17-3, 8-0 ACC) will host Wake Forest (12-9, 2-6) on Thursday, Feb. 2 at 7:00 p.m.
Thursday’s game can be heard live on www.GoDuke.com via the Blue Devil IMG Network’s Steve Barnes (PXP) and Morgan Patrick (Color). There will also be live HD video available on www.GoDuke.com as well as a live blog kicking off at 6:45 p.m.
The Blue Devils will look to defend their 26-game home court winning streak against ACC opponents and a 36-game win streak versus Wake Forest. Duke is in the middle of a three-game homestand as the Blue Devils will next host 23rd-ranked North Carolina on Monday, Feb. 6 on ESPN2 Big Monday.

A Look At Wake Forest...
Wake Forest enters Thursday’s matchup with an overall record of 12-9 after falling to North Carolina, 75-71, in Chapel Hill on Sunday. The squad is coming off of two consecutive ACC losses, and is 2-3 in road contests this season. Lakevia Boykin (11.3 points, 2.3 rebounds) and Sandra Garcia (10.0 points, 4.2 rebounds) are averaging double figure scoring for the Demon Deacons.
Head coach Mike Petersen is in his eighth year at the helm of the program after leading the Deacs to a record of 15-17 during the 2010-11 campaign.
The Series With Wake Forest...
Duke and Wake Forest have met 70 times in school history with the Blue Devils leading the series 54-16. Duke claimed a 76-58 victory over the Demon Deacons on Jan. 6 in Winston-Salem, and won both meetings during the 2010-11 season, including a 79-50 defeat of the Demon Deacons in the quarterfinals of the 2011 ACC Tournament. Earlier this season, Duke notched a 76-58 win in Winston-Salem. The Blue Devils have won the past 36 consecutive games dating back to the 1993-94 season, and have a 23-6 edge in games played in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Duke has won 14 in a row against the Demon Deacons in Cameron.

Storylines/Other Blue Devil Notes...
• The Blue Devils have won 26 straight games in Cameron Indoor Stadium against ACC opponents. Duke has not lost an ACC contest at home since Maryland posted a 76-69 win on Feb. 17, 2008. Coach P is 29-2 at home against ACC opponents in her five years at Duke.
• In Duke’s 17 wins, the Blue Devils have hit 49.1 percent from the field and averaged 78.9 points. In the three losses, Duke has hit only 33.7 percent from the field and averaged 54.7 points.
• Duke has held four opponents to under 40 points this season. In Coach P’s five years at Duke, the Blue Devils have held 21 opponents to under 40 points.
• With under three minutes left in games,
Chelsea Gray is hitting 56.3 percent of her field goals and has scored 37 of Duke’s 112 points. In her Blue Devil career, she has hit 22 of 41 field goals (53.7%) in the final three minutes of games.
• Duke had a streak of three straight games shooting 50.0 percent or better come to an end against Connecticut when the Blue Devils shot 24.6 percent, which was tied for the fifth lowest in school history. On the year, the Blue Devils have hit 50.0 percent of their field goals or better a total of eight times.

Chelsea Gray posted back-to-back season high points with 16 and 17 against Georgia Tech and Maryland, respectively. She averaged 16.5 points, 7.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds in those two games.
• The Blue Devils have turned the ball over 15 times or less in the last three games -- Maryland (9), Clemson (12) and Connecticut (15). The 21 turnovers against Maryland and Clemson was the fewest turnovers in back-to-back games since 2003-04 (18).
• Duke shot 62.3 percent from the field at Georgia Tech on Jan. 18, which is the highest ever for a Coach P team since arriving in Durham five years ago.
• The Blue Devils have been ranked in the top 10 the past 46 straight weeks. Duke leads the ACC with 218 all-time weeks ranked in the top 10. Next closest is UNC with 193.
• Duke is averaging 75.3 points this season, which is the most for a Blue Devil squad since 2005-06 with an 86.0 ledger. The most for a Coach P squad in her previous four years was 72.1 in 2008-09.

• Duke is currently averaging 17.0 assists per game on the year, which is the most since the 2005-06 campaign (20.5). Since Coach P joined the Blue Devils in 2007-08, the most Duke has averaged in a season is 15.0 in 2007-08 and 2010-11.

Elizabeth Williams has 170 rebounds over her first 20 collegiate games, which ranks as the second-most over a rookie’s first 20 contests in Duke history -- Chris Moreland (198),

• The average age of Duke’s squad this season is 19 years old. This is the youngest since the 2000-01 squad that had an average age of 18.2.
• Over the last 12 years, Duke owns the third-most wins in the nation -- Connecticut (399), Tennessee (359) and Duke (351) through games of 1/31.
• Duke lost 45.8 percent of its scoring from a year ago with the graduation of

First year assistant coach
Candice M. Jackson spent 2008-11 with Wake Forest as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. She helped recruit the three-member freshman class of Lauryn Webster, Millesa Calicott and Dearica Hamby, who was a top 100 recruit.

Sophomore
Richa Jackson has posted 15 and 11 points over the last two contests versus the Demon Deacons and is averaging 10.7 points and 4.3 rebounds in three career games.
Chelsea Gray has hit 64.3 percent from the field and hit 4-of-5 treys, while averaging 8.7 points.
In her first career game against Wake Forest,
Elizabeth Williams posted a triple-double with 18 points, 16 rebounds and an ACC-record 12 blocks. She became the first ACC freshman to post a triple-double and only the second ACC triple-double that included blocks.
