DURHAM, N.C.- The Duke women's basketball program has added the No. 1 ranked recruiting class in the nation under the guidance of Head Coach Joanne P. McCallie and the Blue Devil coaching staff. This summer GoDuke.com will be taking a closer look at each of the incoming freshmen.
The fourth featured signee is Chelsea Gray. Gray, who is a native of Stockton, Calif., was a McDonald's All-America and WBCA All-America as a senior at St. Mary's High School. She was an All-USA Today high school girl's basketball team selection in 2010 and was named Co-Player of the Year and a first team honoree on Parade's 2010 All-America squad. Gray is a three-time The Record Player of the Year, while being named California Miss Basketball and Gatorade Player of the Year selection in 2010. As a senior, she averaged 16.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 5.1 steals.
