Streelman fired a final round score of three-under par 69 to help the Blue Devils to their second team title of the year. Duke, who also won The Nelson in Palo Alto, Calif., back in October, finishd at eight-under par to win by five strokes over Wake Forest and by seven shots over N.C. State. Streelman's three-round total of 69-71-69=209 was good enough to win the individual championship by one shot over N.C. State's David Sanchez (69-66-75=210). Jamie Elson of Augusta State finished third at 71-73-67=211.
Duke's Brandon LaCroix placed in a tie for fourth place at 212. LaCroix and Streelman were joined by teammates Leif Olson (69-72-75=216; T13th), Matt Krauss (75-74-73=222; T32nd) and Paul Tucker (78-73-73=224; T39th).
Duke is next in action at the ACC Championships in Orlando, Fla., on April 20-22.
