Prior to Duke: Four-year member of the tennis program at Davidson College in 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21 … held a 13-10 overall record in singles action and a 24-26 mark in doubles play … during the 2019-20 season, led the team with a record of 6-2 in singles play and a 10-2 mark in doubles action, including an 8-2 record with partner Axel Fries … given the team’s most improved award at the conclusion of the 2019-20 season and was twice named to the A-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (2017-18 & 2018-19) … attended Merchiston Castle School, where he was a four-year letterwinner … won ITF doubles titles in Cyprus and Malta ... played for school and Scotland at the World School finals in Qatar 2015 and Brazil 2017 ... finished second in the world as captain of team in Brazil in 2017 ... reached the quarterfinal of British grade one winter nationals ... won five-of-six singles matches and five-of-six doubles at school national finals ... voted players' player during senior year ... also competed in track & field and was a member of the 4x100 relay team that claimed the Glasgow schools gold title.
