Made his debut at the Camp Creek Seminole Invitational, finishing 19th at even-par 216 (72, 72, 72).
His collegiate debut was memorable, as Zheng aced the 14th hole at the Camp Creek GC, a 178-yard par 3, in the final round with a five iron. It stands as the program's fifth hole-in-one on record and first since the 2015-16 season (Alex Matlari).
