- Made his debut at the Camp Creek Seminole Invitational, finishing 19th at even-par 216 (72, 72, 72).
- His collegiate debut was memorable, as Zheng aced the 14th hole at the Camp Creek GC, a 178-yard par 3, in the final round with a five iron. It stands as the program's fifth hole-in-one on record and first since the 2015-16 season (Alex Matlari).
- Opened with a 70 at the Sea Best Invitational and finished tied for 26th at 13-over 223 (70, 77, 76).
- His first of two rounds in the 60s came in the opening round at the Seminole Intercollegiate, where he fired a 68 on his way to a 1-under 215 (68, 75, 72) and a tie for 19th finish.
- Was tied for 15th at the Wake Forest Invitational at Pinehurst No. 2 where he fired a 7-over 217 (72, 72, 73).
- Carded rounds of 68, 74 and 71 at the Stitch Intercollegiate to finish tied for 27th at 3-under 213.
PRIOR TO DUKE
- Led his Macleans College team to back-to-back national championships in 2018 2019 in the New Zealand secondary school finals
- Won the Ryan Moore Junior Championship at Oakbrook GC in 2018 (66-69-71=206)
- Won the 2018 South Island U-19 Championship in New Zealand (67-70-66=203)
- Fired a 63 to win the 2018 Auckland Anniversary Tournament
- Named the 2019 Howick Local Board Sportsperson of the Year, the 2018 College Sport Youth Golfer of the Year and the Macleans Sportsperson of the Year
- Signed at Duke ranked No. 6 on the Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS)
- Ranked No. 5 in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings at the time of signing National Letter of Intent
