DURHAM, N.C. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced Tuesday that three Blue Devils were named to the organization's preseason national singles and doubles rankings.

Cooper Williams earned the No. 31 spot heading into the fall season while freshmanÂ
Yannick Alexandrescou was tabbed No. 90 nationally. Additionally, Alexandrescou was tabbed the No. 8 men's newcomer and earned the No. 42 doubles slot with
Ludvig Hede.
Williams was tabbed the 2024 ITA National Rookie of the Year and earned 2025 ITA Doubles All-America accolades. He was a two-time All-ACC First Team pick in 2026, receiving the accolades in singles and doubles. A native of New York, New York, Williams closed a strong campaign with a 17-6 singles mark, all in dual action, and an 8-1 ACC ledger. He finished 17-7 in doubles with an 8-3 record against league foes.Â

Alexandrescou is a Blue Chip prospect with aÂ
TennisRecruiting.net national ranking of No. 2. He is listed asÂ
TennisRecruiting.net's No. 2 prospect from both the Middle Atlantic Region and the state of New York. He entered Duke with an ITF Junior singles world ranking of No. 3 and a career high of No. 2 set in January 2026. Alexandrescou took part in all four grand slams at the junior level, reaching the quarterfinals at Roland Garros in June 2025, the round of 16 at Roland Garros in June 2026 and the round of 32 at Wimbledon in July 2025.Â

Hede begins his Duke career with a personal-best ITF ranking of No. 30. He competed in all four junior grand slams, advancing to the second round in the Australian Open and US Open. He holds three career ITF junior singles titles and five career ITF junior doubles crowns.Â
