Duke Places Four on Men's Golf All-ACC Academic Team

DURHAM, N.C. – Four Blue Devils represent Duke on the 2025-26 Men's Golf All-ACC Academic Team, the conference office announced Monday, as seniors Daniel Choi, Ethan Evans and William Love, along with junior Bryan Kim, were recognized for their academic achievements.
Love is just the seventh golfer in program history to earn All-ACC Academic Team honors four times, joining Ian Siebers (2021-24), Adam Long (2007-10), Julian Suri (2010-13), Brinson Paolini (2010-13), Jake Shuman (2015-18) and Alex Smalley (2016-19).
Evans and Kim each garnered All-ACC Academic Team distinction for the third time, while Choi collected the honor for the second time.
Choi (psychology), Evans (economics) and Love (economics) each earned bachelor's degrees in May.
In addition to their success in the classroom, the four Blue Devils helped Duke produce one of the program's strongest seasons on the course. Under the direction of first-year head coach Bob Heintz, the 2025-26 Blue Devils recorded seven top-five finishes, highlighted by a victory at the Rod Myers Invitational and four runner-up showings. Duke also advanced through NCAA Regional competition and placed 13th at the NCAA Championship, the program's best national finish since 2018.
The Blue Devils established several team records during the season, highlighted by a program-record 27 under-par rounds, surpassing the previous mark of 21 set in 2022-23. Duke also finished with a 283.86 team stroke average, the second-best single-season mark in program history.
To be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must maintain a 3.0 grade-point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average during their academic careers. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
