DURHAM, N.C. – TopDrawerSoccer has released its 2026 Division I women's soccer transfer portal rankings with the Duke class of
Katie Shea Collins and
Samantha Courtwright tabbed No. 1 nationally.
The Blue Devils added Collins from South Carolina and Courtwright from Texas Tech. Following Duke in the rankings were Florida State (2), North Carolina (3), TCU (4) and Florida (5).
In two seasons of college soccer, Collins and Courtwright have combined for 32 goals and 23 assists, with both earning All-America recognition.
Courtwright, a native of Dallas, Texas, spent the last three years at Texas Tech. She started all 20 matches for the Red Raiders in 2025, registering four goals and seven assists. A 5-8 midfielder, Courtwright was a First Team All-Big 12 selection and a United Soccer Coaches Second Team All-Midwest Region honoree. She missed the 2024 season with a knee injury. Courtwright has collected nine goals and 15 assists in 43 career matches.
One of the top scorers nationally the last two years, Collins arrived in Durham following two seasons at South Carolina. Over her career, she has scored 23 goals and added eight assists for 54 points in 38 matches, while earning United Soccer Coaches Third Team All-America in 2025. As a sophomore, Collins totaled 10 goals, five assists and 25 points as she started all 19 contests. Out of her 23 career goals, 10 were game winners. Collins, a 5-3 forward from Gallatin, Tennessee, was a Hermann Trophy Midseason Watch List selection in 2025.
In the final TopDrawerSoccer top-100 player rankings after the 2025 season, Courtwright ranked No. 42 and Collins was No. 53.
