DURHAM, N.C. — Duke earned the No. 3 seed in the Sacramento Region of the 2026 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament Sunday night and will host the College of Charleston in the first round. The 68-team bracket was unveiled in a selection special Sunday night on ESPN.
The Blue Devils tip off NCAA Tournament action against No. 14-seed Charleston in the first round Friday, March 20 in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Duke is also set to host a first-round game between No. 6-seed Baylor and the winner between No. 11 seeds Nebraska and Richmond, who will play in a First Four game Wednesday, March 18. Â The winners of the two first-round games will face off in the second round on Sunday, March 22. Game times and television designations will be announced in the upcoming days.

Kara Lawson. The Blue Devils sport a 64-27 (.703) all-time record in the NCAA Tournament, advancing to 19 Sweet 16's, 11 Elite Eights, most recently in 2025, and four Final Fours over the program's history.
Fresh off winning the 2026 Ally ACC Women's Basketball Tournament title, the Blue Devils enter the NCAA Tournament with an overall record of 24-8, including going 21-2 after starting the year 3-6. Duke is hosting the first two rounds for the third time in four seasons and the second consecutive. The Blue Devils are 12-1 at Cameron Indoor Stadium this season.
The Blue Devils secured the ACC's automatic bid after capturing the program's 10th ACC Tournament crown with a thrilling 70-65 overtime victory over No. 12 Louisville. Duke won three games in three days with a seven player rotation and owns eight quad one wins overall for the season.
