DURHAM, N.C. – For the second consecutive season Duke will serve as one of 16 hosts for the first and second rounds of the 2026 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament, the selection committee announced Saturday afternoon.
The three other teams that will join the Blue Devils in Durham will be revealed during the NCAA Selection Show this Sunday, March 15 at 8 p.m. on ESPN. First-round games will be played either March 20 or March 21 with the second round taking place March 22 or March 23 inside Cameron Indoor Stadium. All-session books are available for
purchase immediately, while single-session tickets will open Monday at 11 a.m., following the announcement of opponent and times.Â
The Blue Devils enter NCAA postseason play after capturing their 10th ACC Tournament title with an overtime victory over No. 12 Louisville last weekend. Duke also won the ACC regular season crown, finishing the year 16-2 overall. Led by ACC Coach of the Year

Duke will be making its 28th appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The Blue Devils are 64-27 in the event and 26-4 in games in Durham.

Toby Fournier with 17.3 points per game. Senior point guard
Taina Mair is having a career year, averaging 11.4 points, 5.5 assists and 5.9 rebounds per game. She most recently averaged 15.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.7 steals per game in the ACC Tournament to earn Most Valuable Player honors.
Ashlon Jackson is playing both ends of the court at an elite level, dropping 11.4 points per game, a team-best 68 three-pointers and 4.4 assists per game, while drawing the toughest perimeter defensive matchup for Duke's elite defense. Fournier,
Delaney Thomas, Mair and
Arianna Roberson lead the charge on the glass, averaging 8.2, 6.3, 5.9 and 5.5 rebounds per game, respectively. Thomas also contributes 10.7 points per game on a team-high 60 percent shooting, while Roberson adds 8.2 points and 1.1 blocks per game. Fournier is the top rim protector, averaging 2.3 blocks per game.
