DURHAM, N.C. – Duke women's golf freshman
Rianne Malixi has been selected to represent her home country of Philippines at the 2025 World Amateur Team Championship. The competition will take place Oct. 1-4 at the Tanah Merah Country Club in Singapore.Â
Â
The 36 women's teams will be competing for the Espirito Santo Trophy and will play 72 holes of stroke play. Teams will be comprised of 2-3 golfers and for each round the lowest two scores for each team will be counted as the score for the round. The total of the two-player team scores for the four rounds is the team's score for the Championship. The Champion is the team with the lowest total score for 72 holes.
Â
Along with Malixi on the Philippines squad will be Grace Quintanilla and Junia Gabasa.Â
Â
