DURHAM, N.C. — Two-time Duke women's soccer All-American and 2022 Hermann Trophy Award winner, Michelle Cooper, has received another call from the U.S. Women's National Team as head coach Emma Hayes announced the 25-player training camp roster Wednesday for their upcoming matches against the Republic of Ireland and Canada.
The USA is scheduled to face the Republic of Ireland on June 26 at DICK's Sports Good Park in Commerce City, Colo, presented by Allstate at 9 p.m. (ET) on TBS, truTV and Max, Universo and Peacock in Spanish and on the road on Westwood One Sports followed by a contest on June 29 at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio at 3 p.m. (ET) on TNT, truTV and Max, Universo and Peacock in Spanish and on the radio on Westwood One Sports. The U.S. will close action on July 2 against Canada at Audi Field in Washington, D.C., in the Allstate Continental Clasico at 7:30 p.m. (ET) on TNT, truTV and Max, Universo and Peacock in Spanish and on the radio via Westwood One Sports.
Cooper made her USWNT debut during the 2025 SheBelieves Cup, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 2-0 victory over Colombia on Feb. 20. In the team's next match against Australia, the forward scored her first international goal in the 68th minute which stood as the game-winner in a 2-1 win. Most recently, she dished out an assist in a 3-0 shutout over China PR on May 31. Cooper also had a decorated youth national team career, highlighted by winning the Golden Boot and Golden Ball at the 2022 Concacaf U-20 Championship as well as captaining her team at the 2022 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Currently with the Kansas City Current, Cooper has registered four goals and two assists in seven matches on the year. In two seasons at Duke, Cooper tallied 31 goals and 16 assists and guided the Blue Devils to back-to-back appearances in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championship.
