Theo Winegar are set to compete in the American Collegiate Wildcard Playoff, as announced by the United States Tennis Association (USTA) on Thursday. The Blue Devil pairing will face SMU's duo of Trevor Svajda and Louis Cloud on June 17 at 7 p.m. ET, in Orlando, Florida, at the USTA National Campus.Â

The tournament showcases the top American collegiate players competing for one of six guaranteed US Open wild card entries. Any American singles player or doubles team that won or reached the final of the NCAA Division I Individual Championships automatically qualified for the playoffs, while additional selections were made by a committee.

Williams and Winegar capped their season with an 11-2 overall record, including an 8-0 mark against ranked opponents and closed the year on a six-match unbeaten streak. The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the pair had earned All-America honors after finishing third in the final national double's rankings.
