CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Duke men's golf sophomore
Bryan Kim was named to the 2025 All-ACC Team, which was announced by the conference on Tuesday, June 10.
Kim earns his first All-ACC accolades, becomes the 41st all-time Blue Devil on an All-ACC team and the first since
Ian Siebers picked up back-to-back honors in 2021 and 2022. As a sophomore, Kim led Duke in several major categories this season, including stroke average (71.44), score to par (+2) and average vs. par (+0.1). The 16-member All-ACC Team, along with the Player, Freshman and Coach of the Year are voted on by the league's 15 head coaches.
Kim ended the season ranked 64th in the country by Scoreboard Powered by clippd, the ninth-highest ranked individual in the conference. He advanced to NCAA Championships as an individual after tying for third place at 6-under, 210 at the Reno Regional and finished 17th at the 2025 ACC Championship. Along with leading the team in stroke average, score to par and average vs. par, the Brookeville, Md., native also paced the Blue Devils in under-par rounds (15) and rounds in the 60's (nine). After starting in all 12 team events for Duke, Kim finished the season counting in 33 of a possible 36 team rounds, a team-leading percentage of 91.7.
His tie for third place at the NCAA Reno Regional matched his best finish of the season, which he also achieved at Duke's home event, the Rod Myers Invitational, where he shot a 7-under, 209. Kim was the Blue Devils' leading finisher four times – with his Rod Myers and Reno Regional efforts joined by a 21st-place finish at the Fighting Irish Invitational and a tie for 17th at the ACC Championship.
Kim finished his sophomore season with a career stroke average of 72.01, good for fifth all-time in the Duke record books, while his single-season stroke average of 71.44 ranks ninth in program history.
