NORMAN, Okla. – Due to darkness, the third round of the NCAA Norman Regional was suspended Tuesday evening with the Duke women's golf team nearly done with its final round at the 6,445-yard, par-72 Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club in Norman.
Duke's
Rylie Heflin has two holes remaining, while
Katie Li,
Carla De Troia and
Anna Cañado Espinal have three holes left.
Andie Smith has five holes remaining as well.
Due to inclement weather in the area, the Blue Devils didn't start their final round until 4:30 p.m., locally. The teams dealt with higher winds and much cooler temperatures, while the rain returned towards the end of the day as well.
The teams yet to finish will resume action at 10 a.m. (ET) to close regional play.
