Nine Blue Devils Named to Wrestling All-ACC Academic Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The ACC office released the All-ACC Academic Wrestling Team Thursday with nine Blue Devils selected. Earning honors include Raymond Adams, Connor Barket, Kwasi Bonsu, Gaetano Console, Logan Ferrero, Ethan Grimminger, David Hussey, SP O'Donnell and Nick Tattini.Â

Duke and Stanford led the way with nine selections.Â

Ferrero earned the honor for the third time in his career, while Adams, Barket, Bonsu and Console were selected for the second year in a row.Â

Duke has featured at least one All-ACC Academic Team selection in each of the last 19 years.Â
Â
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must have competed in at least 50 percent of their team's matches on the season.
