DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's tennis team received its 35th-consecutive bid to the NCAA Team Championships and enter the event for the 36th time in program history, the NCAA announced Monday during its 2025 selection show. The Blue Devils will host the first and second rounds May 2-3 at Ambler Tennis Stadium in Durham.
Eighth-ranked Duke is set to face Bryant in first-round action Friday, May 2 at 4 p.m., while Florida Atlantic will take on Old Dominion as well at 1 p.m.
The winner of each first round match will play in second-round action Saturday, May 3 at 4 p.m., in Durham.
The winner of each site advances to super-regional competition May 9-11. Each super-regional site will feature two teams playing a single-elimination format. The super-regional winners advance to the NCAA Championship at the Hurd Tennis Center in Waco, Texas, where the eight teams will compete for the national championship May 15-18. The event will be hosted by Baylor.
The Blue Devils enter the NCAA Tournament with a 21-3 overall record and are coming off advancing to the semifinals of the ACC Championship. Duke features 17 ranked wins, including victories over No. 4 North Carolina, No. 6 Michigan, No. 10 NC State and No. 10 Pepperdine. The Blue Devils captured their 22nd ACC regular season championship and Duke's first undefeated mark since 2012 with a 12-0 ledger.
In 35 appearances in the NCAA Tournament, the Blue Devils have tallied an 81-34 record for a 70.4 winning percentage, advanced to the NCAA Semifinals 11 different times and won the 2009 NCAA Championship. Duke head coach
Jamie Ashworth has guided the Blue Devils into the NCAA Tournament each of his 29 seasons at Duke, including nine semifinal trips and the 2009 title.

Ellie Coleman (109) are all listed. Duke's doubles duo of Coleman and Balus are also ranked No. 18 nationally. The Blue Devils are one of only two teams nationally with six players ranked in singles.
Tickets for the NCAA First and Second rounds will be $5 plus a $1 processing fee online and at the gate for ages three and up. Ages two and under receive free admission. All Duke students will be admitted free with a valid student ID.
