DURHAM, N.C. – Coming off its third top-10 victory of the season this past week, the Duke women's tennis team moved to No. 4 nationally as a team, while six Blue Devils earned singles rankings in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings that were released this week.
The Blue Devils are riding an 11-match winning streak to move to 16-2 overall and 8-0 in the ACC. Duke has collected top-10 wins against No. 4 North Carolina, No. 6 Michigan and No. 10 NC State. In six out of the last eight years, Duke has now been ranked in the top-5 nationally at one point during the season. The Blue Devils have also been ranked in the top-5 20 times over the last 25 years.

Irina Balus (#14),
Emma Jackson (#20),
Eleana Yu (#55),
Shavit Kimchi (#77),
Liv Hovde (#84) and
Ellie Coleman (#120) are ranked. Duke also features the doubles tandem of Balus and Coleman ranked No. 17.
A product of La Grange Park, Ill., Jackson earned her highest singles ranking of her collegiate career at No. 20, while Hovde received her first ITA singles ranking of her short career at No. 84. Hovde, who is from Daniel Island, S.C., totaled a win over 15th-ranked Thea Rabman of North Carolina last week to jump into the national rankings.
The Blue Devils are the only team nationally with six singles players ranked in the ITA ledger.
Duke heads to the West Coast this weekend for a couple of matches against ranked opponents. The Blue Devils face 17th-ranked California Friday, April 4 at 4:30 p.m., and 25th-ranked Stanford on Saturday, April 5 at 5 p.m.
