Quotes
- "I'm just so excited for the guys. We've had a lot of close losses and moments that haven't gone our way, but we've been talking about peaking at the right time, and I had a really good feeling about today. I liked their level. I liked their vibe. We didn't play NC State during the regular season, and I felt good about our matchups. NC State has an incredible team and they're having such a good year. Kyle and Chris have done a tremendous job. I mean, they were 12-0 heading into their last regular season match. They gave us all we could handle, but we were fortunate to get through it."
- "Doubles was as good as we've played all year. We've been consistently strong in doubles, staying aggressive and bringing great energy. We came out of the gates strong, but that's just one point—we had to reset and get back to work for singles."
- "Remy's a special kid. He's such a good person and a hard worker. This is his first year playing college tennis, and he's dreamed about being in these moments and being part of a team. For him to step up at the end was phenomenal. He really fed off the other guys—the energy was incredible. Remy played aggressive and really embraced the moment. We talked about staying in the present, not thinking too much about the next game, and just taking it point by point. It was a very special moment—one he'll remember forever." – Head Coach Ramsey Smith
