Women's Tennis Continues to Feature Six Ranked Singles Players in ITA Rankings

DURHAM, N.C. – The latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings were released Tuesday with Duke women's tennis continuing to feature six ranked singles student-athletes heading into postseason play.
In the rankings, Irina Balus (#18), Emma Jackson (#25), Liv Hovde (#60), Eleana Yu (#67), Shavit Kimchi (#83) and Ellie Coleman (#115) are all listed. Duke's doubles duo of Coleman and Balus are also ranked No. 17 nationally.
The Blue Devils are one only two teams to feature six current ranked singles players in the national rankings.
Duke is No. 4 nationally as a team and is coming off closing the regular season with an 20-2 overall record and 12-0 ACC ledger. The Blue Devils claimed their 22nd ACC regular season title in program history and the 16th undefeated mark. Duke brought home the regular season championship for the first time since 2018 and totaled its first undefeated regular season since 2012.
The Blue Devils are seeded No. 1 in the ACC Championship, which will be held in Cary at the Cary Tennis Park. Duke is set to open play Friday, April 16 at 10 a.m.
