QUOTES
- "Yeah, it was a good match for us after the battle at Georgia Tech Friday night. They knew that Clemson was much improved from a year ago and they knew that Clemson's a good team.I thought we came out with a lot of focus, a lot of determination and a lot of positive energy. It started with doubles play and obviously carried over to the singles. It was probably the most complete match we've played all year. So that was good."-- Duke head coach Jamie Ashworth
- "Emma's been great for us this season and over her career. She won that tough match Friday night and for us to accomplish what we want to accomplish, Emma has to play well and be a staple in what we're doing. She did that this weekend. She did a really good job of hitting her forehand and being forehand dominant. We talked to her a little bit about that after Friday night she did a good job with that today."-- Duke head coach Jamie Ashworth on Emma Jackson's weekend
- "Yeah, that's huge for our team. It's been a long time for Liv since she's really competed and won a match.Hopefully you get that first one under your belt and you start to feel more comfortable. You can see she's getting a little bit more confident and a little bit more comfortable.Sitting out as long as she did, it's a challenge.I think that definitely the best of Liv is yet to come, but this is definitely a positive step for her and for our team.We need Liv in there."-- Duke head coach Jamie Ashworth on Liv winning her first singles match
