RALEIGH, N.C. – The Duke men's basketball team held an open practice and met with the media on Thursday at the Lenovo Center in advance of its game against Mount St. Mary's in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
After a morning practice in the Raleigh area, the Blue Devils headed to the site of Friday's first-round matchup where head coach
Jon Scheyer, along with players
Cooper Flagg,
Kon Knueppel and
Tyrese Proctor answered questions from the media. Duke then held an open practice in front of fans and media in attendance at the Lenovo Center.
Playing as the No. 1-seed in the East Region, the Blue Devils (31-3) take on the No. 16-seed Mountaineers (23-12) on Friday at 2:50 p.m. ET on CBS, with Ian Eagle, Grant Hill, Bill Raftery and Tracy Wolfson on the call.
Duke is making its 47th all-time appearance in the NCAA Tournament and earned the 15th one seed in program history. Duke has been ranked inside the top-10 for all but two weeks this season, and enters the tournament ranked No. 1 in the country with a 31-3 record, having swept the ACC regular season and tournament titles.
Duke's game on Friday in Raleigh marks the program's 41st NCAA Tournament game in the state of North Carolina, with a record of 34-6 (.850). The Blue Devils are 12-9 all-time at the Lenovo Center, including a 2-1 record during the NCAA Tournament.
