MOBILE, Ala. – Four former Duke women's golfers – Yu Liu, Emma McMyler, Ana Belac and Erica Shepherd – earned their 2026 LPGA Tour cards Tuesday as they finished in the top 25 at LPGA Q-Series, which was contested Robert Trent Jones at Magnolia Grove in Mobile.
With rounds of 71, 68, 69 and 71, Liu placed tied for 15th with a 7-under, 279. Liu helped lead Duke to the NCAA Championship in 2014 and turned professional after. She has competed on the LPGA since 2018.
McMyler rallied on the back nine Tuesday with five birdies over her final six holes to finish with a 6-under, 280, for the week, which was tied for 17th. Over the week, she totaled scores of 73, 66, 74 and 67. A member of the Blue Devils in 2024-25, McMyler competed on the Epson Tour this past season and earned her LPGA Tour card for the first time.
Since turning professional in 2023, Shepherd has competed on the Epson Tour. She broke through this past year by winning the Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout and this week turned in rounds of 68, 72, 70 and 71 for a 5-under, 281, tie for 24th. Shepherd earned her first LPGA Tour card.
Belac regained her LPGA Tour card this week with scores of 69, 66, 75 and 71 for a 5-under, 281. She collected three birdies over a span of six holes on the back nine to move up the leaderboard Tuesday. Belac was a member of Duke's 2019 NCAA Championship squad.
Liu, McMyler, Belac and Shepherd earned LPGA status Category 15.
Anne Chen tied for 56th this week with scores of 69, 76, 72 and 71, but with her win at the 2025 Epson Tour Championship in October she earned her 2026 LPGA Tour card. She was competing this week to try to improve her status.
Jaravee Boonchant did not earn her card, after carding rounds of 71, 72, 771 and 71 for a 5-over, 291.
Duke will now feature 11 golfers on the LPGA in 2026 – Laetitia Beck, Belac, Celine Boutier, Chen, Lindy Duncan, Gina Kim, Liu, Leona Maguire, McMyler, Shepherd and Miranda Wang.
