DURHAM, N.C. – On Sunday, Duke women's soccer head coach
Kieran Hall announced the signing of one of the top transfers in the portal with the addition of United Soccer Coaches Third Team All-American
Katie Shea Collins of South Carolina.
A Hermann Trophy midseason candidate, Collins will have two years of eligibility remaining and will join the Blue Devils in January of 2026. Collins is one the top scorers in collegiate soccer, amassing 23 goals and eight assists for 54 points over two seasons with the Gamecocks. Of her 23 goals scored, 10 were game winners.
"I chose Duke because it challenges me both academically and athletically," said Collins. "I'm excited to grow in the classroom and on the field, surrounded by people who push me to be my best every day. I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn under the amazing Duke staff, compete for championships and continue developing toward my dream of playing at the highest levels."

- A three-time SEC Freshman of the Week selection and SEC Offensive Player of the Week honoree once in 2024
- Started 18-of-19 matches as a freshman, while scoring 13 goals and adding three assists with four game-winners
- Her 13 goals ranked second in the SEC as a rookie
- Played 1,310 minutes as a freshman
- At Pope John Paul II Prep School, ranks No. 1 for most career goals (106) and most goals in a season (44) in program history
- All-Summer County MVP (2022, 2023), All-State First Team (2022) and All-Region (2020-24)
