DURHAM, N.C. – A total of six former Duke women's golfers – Ana Belac, Jaravee Boonchant, Anne Chen, Yu Liu, Emma McMyler and Erica Shepherd – are set to open action Thursday at LPGA Q-Series, which is The Final Qualifying Stage held at Magnolia Grove Golf Course in Mobile, Alabama, from Dec. 4-8.
A total of 116 golfers will play 90 holes of stroke play with a cut to 65 and ties after 72 holes.
Chen won the 2025 Epson Tour Championship in October to earn her 2026 LPGA Tour card, but is competing this week to try to improve her status.
Golfers finishing in positions 1-25 and ties will earn LPGA status Category 15. All other golfers who complete at least four rounds will earn Epson Tour status in category C.
Belac opens play at 8:22 a.m., followed by McMyler (8:33 a.m.), Boonchant (8:55 a.m.), Shepherd (9:06 a.m.), Chen (9:39 a.m.) and Liu (9:39 a.m.).
