LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Duke women's basketball senior
Ashlon Jackson and sophomore
Toby Fournier have been named to the 50-player watch list for the 2025-26 John R. Wooden Award, as announced by the Los Angeles Athletic Club Tuesday.
Fournier, the 2025 ACC Freshman of the Year, leads the Duke offense with 15.6 points per game on 52-percent shooting. The Toronto native also ranks second on the team in rebounds (6.6/gm) and is the top shot blocker in the ACC with 14 denials.
In five games this season, Fournier scored in double figures four times and blocked four shots in three different games. She also has been a threat from distance, draining three-of-four from behind the arc.
Jackson enters her senior season after having tied the Duke record for three-pointers in a season. She is second on the team in scoring at 10.8 points per game and is coming off a 16-point outing at Liberty. Also playing point guard at moments, the China, Texas, native has 19 assists to rank seventh in the ACC.
Playing in 108 career games, Jackson is 78 points away from 1,000 for her career and is a career 36-percent shooter from long range.
The Blue Devils (3-2) travel to Tampa, Florida, for a Thursday night matchup against South Florida. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m., on ESPNU.
