DURHAM, N.C. – Duke's incoming men's tennis recruiting class was tabbed the No. 19 class in the nation, according to rankings released by TennisRecruiting.net on Monday.
Dylan Long makes up the highly touted class after signing his National Letter of Intent in November. The Carmel, Ind., native will enroll in August of 2025 and join the Blue Devil squad for the 2025-26 season.
To compile the rankings, TennisRecruiting.net asked panelists to vote on the rankings. Each of the panelists submitted his/her take on the Top 25 recruiting classes. Schools received 25 points for each first-place vote, 24 points for each second-place vote, on down to 1 point for each 25th-place vote. The panelists were told not to consider incoming transfer students in their voting, and also did not consider incoming freshmen who are competing this spring.Â

Long is a Blue Chip prospect who currently holds a TennisRecruiting.net national ranking of No. 14 and a UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) of 12.58. Additionally, he reached No. 1 in the USTA Boys' 18s singles rankings in August.
In 2024, Long won the singles USTA Boys' National Clay Court Championships in July and was a finalist in doubles. He owns two ITF junior doubles titles as well as a semifinal trip at the Newport Beach PTT. He received his first ATP point in November at the 15K Futures event in Boca Raton, Fla. Â
