Duke Announces ACC Women’s Hoops Slate, Promo Schedule for 2024-25

DURHAM, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) revealed the complete conference schedules for the 2024-25 season Tuesday evening, with Duke tipping off its league schedule at home against Virginia Tech Sunday, Dec. 8. Duke wraps ACC action at Florida State Sunday, March 2 – marking the first time since the 1997-98 season the Blue Devils have closed league play outside of North Carolina.
Tip times and TV designations for the 2024-25 campaign were also announced with the Blue Devils' schedule featuring 16 nationally televised games. Among the 16 are five contests on ESPN/2 consisting of Big Monday matchups at NC State (Feb. 3) and Notre Dame (Feb. 17) and home tilts vs. ACC newcomer Stanford (Jan. 19), Louisville (Feb. 20) and rival North Carolina (Feb. 27). The schedule also includes seven contests available via streaming on ACC Network Extra.
Five of Duke's eight games in January are away from the Bull City. After ringing in the New Year at Boston College Jan. 2, the Blue Devils make a pit stop at home for a date with Pittsburgh (Jan. 5) prior to road matchups at rival North Carolina (Jan. 9) and Virginia (Jan. 12).
California and SMU, who begin their first seasons as ACC members, comprise two of the next three matchups. Duke welcomes the Golden Bears to Cameron Indoor Stadium Jan. 23 before making the trek to the Lone Star state to battle the Mustangs (Jan. 23). The Blue Devils bookend the month Jan. 26 in Atlanta versus Georgia Tech.
February features eight games on the docket, including a quintet of games in Cameron Indoor Stadium. In addition to the final regular season home game against the Tar Heels, Duke will also host Clemson (Feb. 6), Miami (Feb. 9), Louisville (Feb. 20) and Syracuse (Feb. 23). The Blue Devils will travel to Wake Forest midway through the month, battling the Demon Deacons Feb. 13.
