DURHAM—Duke landed 26 members on the 2024 ACC Men's Lacrosse All-ACC Academic Team as announced by the conference on Wednesday.
Tyler Carpenter, Jake Naso and
Brennan O'Neill each garnered the honor for the fourth time in their careers, while
Andrew McAdorey and
Dyson Williams earned their third recognition.
Charles Balsamo, Henry Bard, Keith Boyer, Kenny Brower, Aidan Danenza, Will Frisoli, Jack Gray, Cole Krauss, Aidan Maguire, Charlie O'Connor, Jack Pappendick are honorees for a second time and
Jake Caputo, Tomas Delgado, Connor Drake, Cal Girard, Patrick Jameison, Benn Johnston, Reed Landin, Grant Mitchell, Max Sloat and
Alex Slusher nabbed their first All-ACC Academic Team spots.
Duke's trio of four-time honorees represent nearly half of the seven student-athletes who earned a spot on the academic squad. The Blue Devils' 26 selections are second behind Virginia's 29 and are one more than the 25 last season.
To be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must have a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
