BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The Duke men's basketball team held an open practice and met with the media on Thursday at the Barclays Center in advance of its game against Vermont in the first round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
After a morning practice at the Brooklyn Nets' practice facility, the Blue Devils headed to the site of Friday's first-round matchup where head coach
Jon Scheyer, along with players
Jeremy Roach,
Tyrese Proctor and
Kyle Filipowski answered questions from the media. Duke then held an open practice in front of fans and media in attendance at the Barclays Center.
The fourth-seeded Blue Devils (24-8) take on the No. 13-seed Catamounts (28-6) on Friday at 7:10 p.m. ET on CBS, with Ian Eagle, Grant Hill, Bill Raftery and Tracy Wolfson on the call.
The game marks Duke's first NCAA Tournament contest played in Brooklyn and the Blue Devils hold an overall 9-2 record at the Barclays Center, highlighted by their ACC Tournament title in 2017.Â
