The Opening Faceoff
- Duke returns to Koskinen following a 14-12 loss to Penn Friday night. The Blue Devils are 4-1 overall and playing their second top 20 opponent in the Tigers.
- Duke will hold a silent auction with men's lacrosse items during the game. The auction includes four Duke helmets signed by the team, two jerseys signed by the team and two pair of Duke Nike gloves. Bidding starts at $100.
- The Blue Devils last faced Princeton in 2002. This is the first time Princeton has played in Durham since the one game in 1952 - a 9-4 Duke victory.
- Princeton is coming off a commanding 15-9 victory at North Carolina Friday night. The 14th-ranked Tigers are 3-1 overall with the loss coming against Maryland. Princeton's starting attack unit had 12 goals to lead the charge against the Tar Heels. The Tigers outscored North Carolina 6-1 in the second quarter to pull away.
- The Blue Devils scored just 12 goals against a tough Penn squad Friday night. Senior midfielder Aidan Danenza had a career-high four goals – his first career hat trick – to lead the offense. Heading into the game, Duke was shooting 43 percent. Against the Quakers, Duke scored 12 goals on 47 shots for 26 percent.
- This is the second game in a busy month of eight games in 28 days. The Blue Devils hit the road for four of their next five games, including the ACC opener at Syracuse March 20. Four of the next six opponents are ranked in the top 20.

Series History
- Duke and Princeton are meeting for the 10th time and for the first time since 2002. The Tigers lead the series 8-1 with Duke's lone win coming in Durham in 1952.

Elite Attack Unit
- Duke's attack unit of Brennan O'Neill, Dyson Williams and Josh Zawada is averaging a combined 15 points per game after five games. They account for 52 of Duke's points this season. Heading into Saturday's games only Yale (16.5) and Michigan (15) averaged at least 15 per game.
Duke's High Powered Offense
- Duke scored at least 20 goals in consecutive games to start the 2024 season. It was just the sixth time in program history the Blue Devils have registered back-to-back 20-goal games. Duke has had 63 20-goal games in its history and multiple times in 19 seasons.
- The Blue Devils hit 20 goals in four different games in 1999 with the fourth coming against St. Andrews - an NAIA program.
