DURHAM – Duke women's basketball senior guard
Vanessa de Jesus and Gilas – the Philippines Senior Women's National Team – are set to embark on their quest for FIBA gold as the team prepares to open 2023 FIBA Women's Asia Cup action against host country Australia on Monday, June 26 at 5:30 a.m. ET.
The FIBA Women's Asia Cup is slated for June 26-July 2 at the Quay Centre in the Sydney Olympic Park in Sydney, Australia. With a good showing in Sydney, de Jesus and Gilas will keep themselves in Division A of the tournament.

FIBA Women's Asia Cup player rankings released on Saturday – with the Valencia, Calif., product checking in at No. 10 on the list.
Following the matchup with Australia, Gilas – part of a difficult Group B – will face five-time defending FIBA Women's Asia Cup champions Japan June 26 at 11:30 p.m. ET, before closing out group play with a matchup versus Chinese Taipei on June 27 at 11:30 p.m. ET.
All games can be live streamed via Courtside 1891
