Beck Tabbed CSC Academic All-American

DURHAM – For the second straight year, Duke women's tennis standout Chloe Beck has been tabbed a First-Team College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American as announced Thursday by the organization.
Beck becomes the first two-time Academic All-American in Blue Devil tennis history.
A native of Watkinsville, Ga., Beck turned in one of the best individual seasons in school history with a 33-5 singles and 30-5 doubles mark in 2022-23. She became the fourth Blue Devil to collect 30 or more singles and doubles wins in a single season, while registering back-to-back 33-win seasons. Beck was ranked as high as No. 2 nationally, while playing No. 1 singles. She received an invitation to compete in the NCAA Singles Championship for the second consecutive season and advanced to the round of 16.
Beck reached the 100-win mark in only 124 matches, which was the second-quickest in school history. She graduated in May with a degree in psychology along with a neuroscience and environmental science and policy minors. Beck is expected to return in 2023-24 for a fifth year with the Blue Devils.
Other Blue Devils to earn CSC, previously known as CoSIDA, Academic All-America accolades include Vanessa Webb (1999), Monica Mraz (1995) and Julie Exum (1993).
