COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A quartet of Duke women's basketball players are gearing up to represent the Blue Devils at the 2023 USA Basketball 3X Nationals in May as the organization unveiled dates and information for the annual event on Friday afternoon.
Juniors
Kennedy Brown and
Vanessa de Jesus, freshman
Ashlon Jackson and sophomore
Reigan Richardson comprise the group set to represent the Blue Devils at the 2023 USA Basketball 3X Nationals, which will take place May 5-7 at Reid Arena on the campus of Colorado College in Colorado Springs. The event features 12 men's and 16 women's teams and includes some of the best 3x3 players in the country, vying for national titles.
In addition to Duke, the impressive lineup of NCAA Division I women's programs expected to field teams at the event includes Creighton, Gonzaga, Indiana, Maryland, Middle Tennessee State, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Seton Hall, St. John's, Tennessee, UCLA, Utah and Villanova.
3X Nationals tips off May 5 with preliminary round games and will continue through the weekend with preliminary and medal round games. Teams will be seeded based on preliminary records before entering bracket play. Game action is set to stream live May 6 and May 7 on USA Basketball's website,

3X Nationals serves as an evaluation for selection to various 2023 USA Basketball 3x3 men's and women's national teams, including the 2023 FIBA 3x3 World Cup, set for May 30-June 4 in Vienna, Austria, and roster spots for USA Basketball World Tour, Women's Series and U21 and U23 Nations League teams.
