DURHAM – The fourth-ranked Duke women's tennis team (5-0) will close an eight-match homestand to start the season this weekend as the Blue Devils host Harvard, Georgetown and North Carolina Central inside Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center in Durham, N.C.
Duke will first welcome Harvard on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 12 p.m., followed by Georgetown on Sunday, Feb. 5 at 2 p.m., and North Carolina Central on Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
On Saturday for the Harvard match, parking will be more of a challenge due to Duke men's basketball hosting North Carolina that evening. General public parking will be available for guests attending the women's tennis match in the Circuit Lots on Circuit Drive starting at 7 a.m. All general public parking for men's and women's tennis will open at 7 a.m. Parking will be free of charge from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
On Sunday, parking will be available in the blue zone like normal. For more information on parking, click here.

The Series with Harvard
The Blue Devils and the Crimson will meet for the sixth time in school history and for the first time in 20 years. Duke is 5-0 all-time in the series and won its last match against Harvard on Feb. 2, 2002 by a 4-3 ledger. The Blue Devils are 3-0 in matches played in Durham.
Duke Versus the Ivy League
The Blue Devils are 34-4 all-time versus the Ivy League Conference. Duke is on a current 26-match win streak versus Ivy League opponents.
Scouting Harvard
Harvard enters the weekend with a 3-2 record with wins over Quinnipiac, Army and Boston College. The Crimson have dropped two straight matches against LSU and Penn State ahead of Saturday's match. Harvard is coming off totaling a 12-11 season a year ago under head coach Traci Green.
The Series with Georgetown
Duke and Georgetown will square off for the first time in school history. The Hoyas are coming off of a 9-13 season, going 4-4 in conference play and falling in the Big East Tournament semifinals.
Duke Versus the Big East
The Blue Devils are 1-0 all-time versus the Big East Conference. Their sole victory came against Marquette on Jan. 25, 2002, in which Duke swept the Golden Eagles, 7-0.
Scouting Georgetown
Georgetown enters the weekend with a 2-1 record and will take on East Carolina on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 1 p.m., in Rocky Mount, N.C. The Hoyas posted back-to-back wins against Delaware State and St. Francis Brooklyn this past weekend.
The Series with NCCU
Duke and North Carolina Central will meet each other for the first time in school history. The Eagles are coming off a 5-16 season, finishing 2-4 in conference play, bowing out in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) semifinals.

Duke's match versus the NC Central Eagles will be the first time in school history that the Blue Devils face a MEAC opponent.
Scouting NCCU
NCCU enters the weekend with a 1-3 record with the lone win coming against UNC Greensboro, 4-3, on Jan. 26. The Eagles dropped matches against North Carolina, East Carolina and UNC Wilmington.
Morra Earns Honors
After helping lead fifth-ranked Duke to a pair of victories over VCU and Wisconsin over the weekend during the ITA Kickoff,
Cameron Morra was tabbed the ACC Women's Tennis Player of the Week on Tuesday.
A native of Rockville, Md., Morra went 2-0 in doubles helping lead Duke to collecting the doubles point in both matches. Teaming with
Chloe Beck, Duke's 13th-ranked duo improved to 17-3 on the season and 4-0 in dual match action. Morra earned the first singles win against Wisconsin, 6-4, 6-1, over 59th-ranked Maria Sholokhova and was leading, 6-0, 5-2, against Yelizaveta Karlova of VCU when the match was clinched.
She earned the ACC Player of the Week honor for the second time in her career as she received the distinction on April 5 of last year. Morra has notched weekly honors from the ACC a total of six times over her career as she was tabbed ACC Freshman of the Week four times in 2019.
Duke Advances to National Team Indoors
For the 30th time in school history, Duke will be a part of the National Team Indoors following wins over VCU and Wisconsin this past weekend. The Blue Devils will play Feb. 10-13 in Seattle, Wash.
Duke snapped a streak of not advancing in 2021 and 2022 with the wins during the ITA Kickoff Weekend. In ITA Kickoff Weekend matches in Durham, N.C., Duke improved to 28-2. The Blue Devils are two-time champions of the event in both 2003 and 2014.
Approaching a Milestone
Duke graduate student
Cameron Morra currently owns a 97-39 career singles record and is three wins away from reaching the 100-win mark. When she reaches the 100-win mark, Morra will become the 28th Blue Devil accomplish that feat. Senior
Chloe Beck is only 13 wins away from reaching 100 wins as well, while featuring an 87-24 ledger. Beck also owns a 52-8 dual match record.
Playing at Home
The Blue Devils have featured an impressive home court advantage when playing in the Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center as Duke owns a 90-3 ledger over the last 15 years. Duke has collected a 48-1 record over the last eight seasons with the lone loss coming to Oklahoma in 2022. Head coach
Jamie Ashworth has a 266-26 mark in home matches over his 27 seasons with the Blue Devils.
Duke owns a 16-match winning streak at home dating back to last season. The winning streak is tied for the eighth-longest in school history. The record is 54, which took place in 2017-21.
In the Rankings
Duke is currently ranked No. 4 in the ITA coaches' poll, which is sponsored by Tennis-Point. With the top-10 ranking, the Blue Devils have been listed in the top 10 in seven straight years under the direction of head coach
Jamie Ashworth. In his 27th season at the helm, Ashworth has guided Duke to a total of 20 top-10 preseason rankings since 2001.
