In the midst of a season-long three-game homestand, Duke welcomes Virginia Tech Saturday.
Wes Durham and Debbie Antonelli are on the call for ESPN. David Shumate and John Roth broadcast the game on the Blue Devils Sports Network from LEARFIELD.
The Blue Devils have won three straight to pull within one game of a top-four spot and 2.5 games of first place in the ACC standings with three games remaining in the regular season.
Over its three game winning streak, Duke is shooting .488 from the field and .397 from three-point range with an assist-turnover ratio of 2.0. Over its last three halves of play, Duke has 29 assists and 10 turnovers (just one turnover in that span by its starting back court).
Duke has held 24 of 28 opponents below their season scoring average (20-4 in those games), including nine that scored a then-season low for points versus the Blue Devils.
The Blue Devils are second in the conference in scoring defense (63.9), second in three-point field goal defense (.307) and third in field goal defense (.414).
At 15.1 points, Filipowski is the nation's only freshman -- and one of just eight power conference  players overall -- averaging at least 15 points and nine rebounds this season.
Leading the team in scoring in back-to-back wins over Syracuse (17 points) and Louisville (14), junior Jeremy Roach has scored 139 points over his last 10 games (13.9) since returning from a toe injury that held him out for three games. In that span, Roach has two 20-point efforts (in wins over Carolina and Wake) while shooting .482 (55-of-114) from the field.
Freshman Tyrese Proctor hit a career-best four threes vs. Louisville and is second on the team in three-point shooting (19-of-46; .413) over the last 10 games.
The balanced Blue Devils saw all five starters score in double figures in Monday's win over Louisville -- first occurrence this season. Duke leads the ACC in bench scoring at 20.5 points per game, with six players on the roster averaging at least 7.0 points and 2.0 rebounds.
Head coach Jon Scheyer is just the third Duke coach all-time to win 20+ games in a debut season, joining Harold Bradley in 1950-51 (20-13) and Gerry Gerard in 1942-43 (20-6).
On This Date: February 25
Duke is 21-13 when playing on Feb. 25 and has won 11 of the last 13 on this date.
Duke last played on this date in 2020 -- a 113-101 double OT loss at Wake Forest.

Series Notes
Duke is looking to even the season series when Virginia Tech visits on Feb. 25 for Duke's final Saturday home game this season.

Graduate Ryan Young played 14 minutes off the bench against the Cardinals with six rebounds, three points, three assists and two blocks for a team-high plus-minus of +24, while fellow grad student Jacob Grandison drilled three clutch three-pointers and grabbed three boards in 13 minutes.

He scored 14 off the bench at Syracuse by hitting a career-best 4-of-6 from behind the arc.
In an overtime loss at No. 8 Virginia on Feb. 11, Whitehead, Young and Grandison each gave Duke a spark off the bench, with Whitehead scoring 10 points in his return from a four-game injury absence, Grandison scoring 11 including three three-pointers plus the game-tying three that forced overtime in the final minute and Young pulling down 11 rebounds to go with six points, and three assists.
Filipowski: Only Freshman Nationally Averaging at Least 15 Points and Nine Rebounds
