Duke was joined by Boston College (one), Clemson (one), Georgia Tech (three), Louisville (three), North Carolina (five), Pittsburgh (one), Syracuse (four) and Virginia (five) as ACC programs with at least one selection this season.
To be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must be a starter or key reserve, achieve sophomore standing at their current school, maintain a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50 and be nominated by his sports information director.
By virtue of their placement on the all-district team, all six will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team ballot, with first- and second-team Academic All-America® honorees being announced in mid-December.
