Duke welcomes Hofstra to Cameron Indoor Stadium on Tuesday, after a successful return home on Saturday, courtesy of an 80-56 victory over the 49ers.

This will be the first hardwood meeting between the Blue Devils and Pride.
Jared McCain scored a career-high 21 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field, including 3-of-7 from long distance, and 4-for-4 from the foul line to lead Duke's triumph over Charlotte.
Hofstra is coming off a 71-68 loss at Saint Louis on Saturday. The Pride led by as many as five points in the second half and held a one-point advantage with less than a minute remaining, but the home team scored the final four points for the win.
Hofstra's 6-3 guard Tyler Thomas, who registered 29 points in the Pride's last contest at Saint Louis and 40 points earlier this season versus High Point (Nov. 22), is the nation's fourth-leading scorer, averaging 23.6 points per game, and is the national leader in 3-point field goals per game (4.33).
Duke ranks fifth nationally in fewest turnovers per game (8.9) and 11th in assist/turnover ratio (1.79).
Hofstra ranks fifth in the nation in free throw percentage (79.8%) and seventh in 3-pointers per game (11.2).
Like Jon Scheyer, Hofstra head coach Speedy Claxton is an alumnus of the program he is leading. Claxton starred at Hofstra from 1996 to 2000, played professionally in the NBA from 2000 to 2009, and spent eight seasons (2013-21) on the Hofstra basketball staff before taking over as head coach.
The Blue Devils are 13-5 overall and have won four of their last five games played on Dec. 12. Duke has not played on this date in almost 20 years.Â
Among ACC leaders, Kyle Filipowskiranks seventh in scoring (17.3 ppg), fourth in rebounding (8.9 rpg) and eighth in blocked shots (1.8 bpg).

Taking Care of the Rock
Through nine games, Duke has been one of the best teams in the country at limiting turnovers, ranking fifth in the nation with just 8.9 per game.
According to KenPom, the Blue Devils currently have the sixth-lowest turnover percentage nationally, coming in at just 12.9%.
Duke is one of five power-conference teams inside the top-10, joined by Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Northwestern and Kentucky.
Flip Doubles Up on Double-Doubles
Sophomore Kyle Filipowskihas tallied double-doubles in two of Duke's last four games, moving his career total to 18 double-doubles in 45 games played.Â
The Westtown, N.Y., native scored 21 points against Southern Indiana while reeling in 14 boards for his first double-double of the season. He then poured in 23 second-half points en route to a season-best 26 total points to go along with 10 rebounds at Arkansas.
So far this season, Filipowski has upped his shooting average compared to his freshman campaign. The 7-footer is averaging 17.3 points per game while shooting 50.0% from the field, up from 44.1% during the 2022-23 season.
The versatile big is also well on pace to step up his assist and block numbers. Filipowski has tallied 22 dimes, while logging just 11 turnovers so far this season and has already blocked 16 shots, after swatting a total of 26 attempts during his freshman year.
Sellout Streak Still Staying Strong
Duke has sold out 512 consecutive games at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The last time Duke did not have a sellout at home was on Nov. 16, 1990, against Boston College.
The sellout figure is the longest current streak (by time) in either men's college basketball or the NBA.
Duke's record at Cameron during the sellout streak is 464-47 (.908).
The Blue Devils Have Won Nearly 85% of Games at Cameron Indoor Stadium
Duke has posted an all-time record of 951-171 (.847) at Cameron Indoor, that included a 572-76 (.883) record under Coach K.Â
Duke has won more games at its current home venue than any team in college basketball.
Now in its 85th season as the home of the Blue Devils, Duke has averaged 11.1 wins since the venue opened January 6, 1940 -- a 36-27 win over Princeton.
Duke's Three-Point Streak
Duke has connected on at least one three-pointer in 1,198 straight games, the second-longest streak nationally.
It has been more than 30 years since Duke was held without a three-point field goal -- Dec. 30, 1989, versus Hawai'i.
