DURHAM – For the second straight year, Duke women's soccer forward
Kat Rader has received United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I All-Atlantic Region accolades.
After earning third team honors as a freshman, Rader was tabbed to the second team in 2023.
In 2023, Rader collected a team-best seven goals and 16 points to go along with two assists. She started all 16 matches and led the Blue Devils with three game-winning goals. Rader, who hails from Stuart, Fla., opened the season with goals in the first three matches against West Virginia, Southern California and Wisconsin. The two-time All-ACC selection added tallies versus East Carolina, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh and North Carolina. Her goal against the top-ranked Tar Heels came with a minute remaining to tie the match.
Over her first two years at Duke, Rader has turned in an impressive 19 goals, seven assists and 45 points. Her 45 points ranks fourth on the Blue Devils' most points through the freshman and sophomore seasons, while her 19 goals are third.
