BOONE, N.C. – Duke wrestling dropped its match on the road to No. 19 Appalachian State Tuesday night in a 42-3 decision.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Senior Jonah Niesenbaum scored the Blue Devils' lone three points after a tight 3-2 decision over App State's Triston Norris.
- Niesenbaum, ranked 20th nationally, claimed his second win over Norris this season after the two met in the quarterfinal bout of the Keystone Classic in Philadelphia, Pa.
- Niesenbaum continues to add to his season wins total, improving to 20-3 overall – his career best.
