DURHAM – No. 20 Duke men's tennis is set to open its home slate with three matches at the Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center this weekend.

The Blue Devils host Memphis at 6 p.m., on Friday before welcoming No. 16 Harvard and North Carolina Central for a doubleheader on Sunday at 1 and 6 p.m., respectively. Parking is available in the Blue Zone. To view the map, clickÂ

HISTORY WITH MEMPHIS
Friday's contest is the third all-time meeting between the two programs with Duke winning the previous two matchups. The lasting meeting came just a year ago when the Blue Devils defeated the Tigers 4-1 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.Â

Memphis opened its spring schedule last weekend when it competed in the MLK Invitational, hosted by Yale University. The Tigers combined to register a 31-5 ledger over the three-day event with the Bulldogs, Vanderbilt, and Charlotte.

HISTORY WITH NO. 16 HARVARD
Sunday's contest is the 16th all-time meeting between the two programs with Harvard holding the 13-2 edge in the series. The Blue Devils won the teams' last meeting on March 26, 2010, 4-0, in Cambridge, Mass., but prior to that the Crimson had strung together four consecutive victories.

SCOUTING THE CRIMSON
Harvard opens its 2023 spring season on Friday at No. 21 NC State before traveling to face off against Duke on Sunday. In the final singles and doubles rankings of the fall season, the Crimson were represented by three singles players, and one doubles pairing. Henry von der Schulenburg led the way in singles at No. 22 followed by Harris Walker at No. 46 and first-year Marc Ktiri at No. 105. The duo of Daniel Milavsky and Ronan Jachuck secured the No. 40 spot in the doubles standings.Â
HISTORY WITH NORTH CAROLINA CENTRAL
Duke currently leads the all-time series with the Eagles 17-0 with all of the matches being played on the Blue Devils' campus. These two programs met Jan. 23 of last year with Duke recording a 6-1 win over the Eagles.

North Carolina Central begins its season on Thursday at No. 18 North Carolina before traveling to battle the Blue Devils on Sunday.

UP NEXT
The Blue Devils hit the road next weekend for the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Winston-Salem, N.C. Duke is scheduled to play Middle Tennessee State on Friday, Jan. 27 at 1 p.m. before facing off against either Wake Forest or Auburn on Saturday. The start time for Saturday's match has yet to be determined. All matches will be played at the Wake Forest Tennis Center.
